ACANLUX Restore Shampoo for Dry Damage Repair Care Frizzy Anti-Hair Loss

A nice shampoo, lathers and cleans well. It leaves my colour treated hair feeling nice soft. I like the packaging, the bottle comes with a pump, something you don't really see in smaller sized bottles of shampoo. Being Australian made is also a big plus and is free from parabens. I was just not a fan of the scent. There was a very mild scent and I can't make out what it is, but I find it let down the shampoo. A nice scent would have really elevated the shampoo in my opinion.

This shampoo is very gentle and non-irritating. It left my hair smooth and shiny and easy to brush and style with no flyaways or frizzy hairs. Too early to tell yet if it will reduce hair loss but here's hoping.

I have been using this shampoo for a couple of weeks now and find that it suits my long fine hair well. It leaves my hair feeling clean and light with no heavy residue left behind. The bottle is pump action so it is easy to get the right amount of shampoo on your hand. I like that it is made in Australia.

I have very fine, shoulder length hair and even though the shampoo has a nice texture it did not lather much at all, I had to use quite a bit and I really couldn't feel the shampoo working my hair.

I have used this a few times now and each morning I wake up with frizzy hair, which I have never had before and the opposite of what this shampoo was supposed to do, go figure.

The smell is off putting for me, it smells like vegetable oil.

I was not keen on this it was just not suited for my hair or sense of smell.

I have just begun my fourth week of using this shampoo. I noticed that the instructions listed Moisturise Hair as the first step, so I took that to mean two reverse wash, which is not uncommon with scalp conditions. I started with conditioner which I put through the ends and lengths of my long coloured hair. I would then do a pre-wash and use two to three pumps to get a good leather going before I massaged my scalp for two minutes. I did notice it would take a while to rinse the shampoo fully out of my hair. I would then use a conditioning scalp treatment, towel wrapped my hair and blow drying. Other than swapping out for this shampoo, I did not actually change anything about my hair washing process.
Although I have not seen any difference in the condition of my hair, I did notice that my hair color faded very fast. I would normally expect 8 weeks until I saw the fading I've had.
I have found my scalp to be soothed and much clearer in the day immediately after washing. I've usually only had this result from medicated products in the past. Their marketing does suggest that it may take two to four weeks to see the full effects of this shampoo.
I am not aware of this Australian made brand. The product is definitely packaged like a premium shampoo range would be.
